Here's What I Gotsta Say:
If only I had an uber amount of time to spend dinking around on Photoshop...but alas, I am now an adult (technically)...and I am quite busy. Actually, I do have the time, I just choose to spend it doing other things that are higher on the importance-o-meter...bah, but that's all economics. I just wish that my dang camera would magically work someday...cause I can't afford to fix it right now and I don't want to spend the money on a new one.

"Don't mistake innocence for ignorance...Don't mistake purity for inexperience...Don't mistake humility for weakness...I sincerely mean this, you understand more than you know."
-The Boy vs. The Cynic, by John Reuben
----------------------------------------
We are a culture, a generation, so seemingly bent on feelings that we have lost sight of what it means to have commitment. When we were children, when we felt hungry, we would cry. We acted immediately on our feelings. But as adults, we have the ability to feel, stop and think, and then act. Let us not be like children. Yes, we should be child-like in terms of our innocence and faith, but mature in our responsibilities, knowledge, action, and spiritual dedication. Feelings come and go, but commitment sticks through the fire. Commitment says, "I may not feel like serving you, but I'm going to anyways because I love you". Commitment says, "I may not feel lovey dovey, but I'm going to execute love as a verb, an action, and I am going to carry it out". Commitment does not blow away with the wind, it does not change with time or circumstance, it stands it's ground. And who better to seek wisdom in terms of commitment than our Father in Heaven. Even when I, or you, or anyone, did not love Him or know Him, still He sent His one and only son to die so that we might have eternal life. We do not always "please" God, in fact, we bring Him pain and hurt when we stray from His ways. But He is still ever faithful to us. He has never turned away from me. Let us learn what commitment truly means. When you marry, know what you're actually saying, and stick to it. When you give someone your word, follow through with it, even when other things seem to get in the way. Let us watch carefully how we live, so that our commitment and love may be measured in full. Now, I am no saint...and I most certainly am no expert on this subject. I mean, I have struggled with staying committed to things most of my life. Yet, I can see that it is something that we are missing right now. I pray that I, that we, can find it. This is simply on my heart.
