I found this seagle to be quite reflective of our human tendency to establish and protect what is ours. This was his rock, and no other seagles would land on it. I find this to be true in my own life, especially when it comes to my opinions and beliefs. When something is dear to you, and when you put value into it, you naturally are defensive when someone threatens its validity and existence. If you tell me I'm wrong, it is very hard for me not to get defensive. Not everyone is like this, but I believe most people are. This seagle...this idea of protecting one's throne...it is all an interesting concept to me. It is well worth pondering.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
